One of most frequently used apps on my phone is my Maps app. I honestly don’t know how people found their way around before smart phones or GPS’s, especially directionally challenged people like me. Not to mention, the Maps app is great because it shows you the quickest way to go so that you can get to your destination more quickly.
Read MoreNormally when I get in my car to go somewhere, the first thing I do is make sure my phone connects to my car so I can turn on my favorite playlist before I start driving. But that wasn’t the case on this one particular summer afternoon.
Read MoreI wonder how many times in my life I’ve walked away too soon, missing out on something beautiful that the Lord had in store for me. So often, our days don’t turn out the way we expect them to, or our circumstances don't look the way we think they should. And when that happens, we are tempted to give up, thinking that there’s no way things can turn out the way we hoped, much less better than we hoped.

Read MoreIt’s pouring rain today. And much to my own disappointment, as my husband and I left Kentucky to make the trek to Northern Ohio for the weekend, the rain followed us the entire journey. Usually, I love the rain. Because I work from home, rainy days are normally cozy and chill, giving me an excuse to stay locked in the house all day long. But for some reason, once I saw the rainy forecast for this weekend, I found myself wishing the rain away.

Talk about an interruption.
