With last week being the 4th of July, people in our neighborhood were shooting off fireworks several nights in a row. And while it was very cool to be able to see a small fireworks show while sitting on our back deck, our 7-month-old puppy Sadie was not so thrilled.

It’s a confusing place to be, but you don’t have to stay confused. Our God is a God you can be confident in, a God you can trust wholeheartedly. Even if your life seems to be spiraling out of control, He is still in complete control. Nothing that happens to you ever catches Him by surprise.
