10 Verses For When You're Waiting For Clarity

And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left. - Isaiah 30:21

One of my least favorite feelings on the planet is feeling like I’m in limbo, like I don’t know what to do next and I don't have enough information to make a decision.

Being the planner that I am, I want to have all of the information I can possibly have, and I want to make a decision from a place of total clarity. But what I’ve learned over my years of walking with Jesus is that clarity doesn’t usually come quickly. It’s something you have to wait for, look for, and, most importantly, pray for.

I don’t know what kind of decisions you’re facing right now. I don’t know if there’s something you’re waiting on, a change you’re anticipating, or a season of uncertainty you’re walking into. But I do know that if you’re wanting clarity, then the Lord can, and will, give it to you. His Word reminds us that He is not a God of confusion, but a God of peace. He doesn’t want us to be in the dark. He doesn’t want us to feel like we have to make uninformed decisions. Instead, He tells us that when we seek Him and align ourselves with Him, we can be confident in what His will is as we move forward.

So with that in mind, I hope you’ll take some time today and in the days to come and meditate on the verses below. Ask God to encourage you with the truth embedded in these verses. Ask Him to give you the clarity you’re waiting for, and trust me friend, He will do just that.
